[00:00] I'm going to show you seven amazing houses that you can build in your own Pocopia world. [00:05] You can copy them exactly or use them as inspiration for larger villages and cities. [00:11] The first house is a desert adobe style house. [00:16] I start with sandstone and create a six by six space. [00:22] And I make that three blocks tall. [00:25] I carve out the section for the door and fill in the roof. [00:29] Slightly to the side, I add another sandstone section. This one is 5x5. [00:36] And I build it 3 blocks higher than the original base. It's going to be our second floor. [00:43] Or first floor if you're in the US. [00:46] I carve out another doorway and add more sandstone on top to create this ground shape. [00:52] And that's what this shell looks like. Now let's add a bit more detail to the doorway. [01:00] Now, one of the most, if not the most important part of design is using the wooden borders [01:13] to create this adobe style aesthetic. [01:16] I used the small ones for the first floor and then the bigger ones in between the crown [01:23] on the second floor. [01:25] I placed down the doors and carved out a few sections for windows. [01:32] For these I'm gonna use wooden hatches. [01:34] Regular windows would work as well. [01:36] I prefer the wooden hatchets. [01:43] Now it's time to add a little bit of decor. [01:50] The garbage bin and the muck colored brown [01:52] make for great pottery. [01:54] And this is what we started with. [01:57] And this is everything at the end, [01:58] and I really like this. [02:00] And if you're wondering what this house could look like [02:02] as part of a full village, then you are in luck. [02:05] I've already built an entire village using that style. [02:09] The next house is a small brick house. [02:12] This one is fully designed by Loon Room 3 on Instagram. They are an amazing [02:19] creator and I linked them in the description below. I start with the [02:23] brick wall frame. I go three blocks wide, two blocks back and another three blocks [02:29] to the side and then I fill in the rest. This is also going to be a rather [02:33] small house. Next I build the walls two blocks tall leaving some space for the [02:42] doorway and windows. At the entrance I frame the door and then we start working on the [02:57] roof. I begin at the front building three blocks tall and then I repeat the same shape on the other [03:04] side. I fill in the remaining gaps and leave a couple of areas open for windows. Then I place [03:17] the door and start decorating the outside. A really neat trick here is using the oven as a chimney. [03:23] I'm using a mix of fences, accessories, hatches and I create a small garden. [03:41] I think it turned out really nicely and again make sure to check out Luru3 on [03:46] Instagram for this amazing design. Next up is one of my favorites, a western [03:53] inspired building. We start with a 6x6 frame leaving two blocks open in [04:01] middle for an entrance. For the base I used wooden pillars and then I used grey [04:06] coloured wooden walls to build the entire square three blocks tall. I fill out [04:21] another layer of wooden pillars then I use the roof pieces to create a small [04:28] roof above the entrance along with wooden closures and walkways. Then I fill in [04:39] the second floor three blocks tall carve out some windows and add what is [04:45] of course necessary and is one of the best features of this building, the saloon entrance. [04:50] Now we're gonna do this by carving out a section in the roof and placing down two [04:57] carts mirrored in the middle making for this great saloon entrance. Then I placed [05:04] the rest of the blocks for the second floor carve out a few more windows and add the roof. [05:17] That gives us this basic design and now it's time to decorate by changing the floor, [05:28] adding some borders, crates, barrels, sandbags and lights. And this is the [05:42] final design and I absolutely adore this. Makes me want to go yee-haw up in this [05:48] building and I can't wait to build an entire city with that kind of style of [05:53] building. Next up is an industrial house. I was really going for an abandoned lab [05:59] kind of vibe here. We start with three blocks of colored brick wall leave a [06:04] two block gap and add another three blocks. Then go back by six blocks and [06:11] fill in the rest of the frame. For the outside I use stone flooring and I [06:18] build a two blocks tall. I also mix in some broken down stone flooring to [06:25] really sell that abandoned and broken down look. Then I place windows on each side, [06:32] add the doors, fill in the roof and use wooden borders to add texture to the [06:44] ceiling or the roof in that case. Then I add some more windows on the sides and [06:52] I place concrete blocks on top for no other reason than the fact that I [07:01] thought it looked good. I add a ventilator on top and I add some iron [07:05] pipes that absolutely serve no purpose play really give that industrial feeling. I used [07:20] some concrete flooring, steel fences, tires, anything that helps make it feel like it's [07:32] abandoned and industrial. And that's the final result. I think a bigger version of [07:44] this could work really well as an abandoned facility. Am I foreshadowing? Maybe. Next [07:51] Next up is a medieval house. [07:54] We start with two blocks. [07:56] Leave a two block gap, go one block back, two to the side, then five blocks back and fill [08:03] out the rest of the base. [08:10] Then I use two stone arches and fill in the rest of the walls. [08:21] And then use upper stylish walling for the next layer of the base. [08:31] Then I place the middle stylish wall randomly. [08:34] I really didn't have a system for this. [08:37] Any section that I didn't want to use as a window, I fill in with plaster wall and the [08:54] rest with sash windows. [09:00] Then I use another layer of upper stylish wall. [09:06] I use stone stairs to shape the outside of the roof, which really gives it that medieval [09:13] look. [09:15] For the inside of the roof I used colored brick roof. [09:23] I actually made a mistake here because the roof needed to go one block forward. [09:28] So I remove the stone stairs, move them one block to the front and fill in everything [09:34] again. [09:41] Next I place roof supports to the underside of the roof and I replace two sections with [09:55] those small roof window pieces. [10:00] Originally I used an iron door but I later changed it to the wooden door because of [10:05] height. [10:07] And I decorate the outside with flowers, parts, torches and some cobblestone on the floor. [10:24] And there we go. [10:26] That is our medieval house done. [10:33] Next up is every Minecrafters dream house. [10:36] A modern house. [10:38] We start with regular simple flooring. [10:40] I go five blocks tall, two blocks wide and then two blocks to the side with stairs [10:46] in between. On the backside I extended by four more simple flooring. Then I switched to black [10:53] colored simple flooring. Here I go six blocks high with a one block gap in between and I extend the [11:00] wall back upwards to the other side. On the right side I extend the white simple flooring wall by [11:06] four. Then I go four blocks down stopping one block above floor height. After that I bring [11:14] the stairs all the way to the front and I add a second layer. I extend the wall of the house to [11:22] side, go toward the back, fill in the back wall and leave a gap so the back section can continue [11:29] through afterwards. Then I place hardwood flooring in the middle and along the bottom floor and then [11:41] I carve out some windows. Next we use black simple flooring again to extend the L shape [11:49] toward the back. I place the door and extend that section all the way through the building. [12:00] Then I fill out the inside. I actually went one block too far, so I remove one layer again. [12:08] After that, I fill in both the white and the black sections of the roof. I bring the hardwood [12:19] flooring a little bit further to the front. This is going to be a window, so obviously we're [12:24] placing down windows on both sides. I use glass panels and on the other side, I use [12:34] regular windows with wooden borders. They really give a good accent to the hardwood flooring. [12:43] Then it's time to decorate. I use modern plants, stone flooring, hedges, some grass, [12:50] and wooden borders to shape the flowerbed. And that's our modern house done straight [13:01] out of Minecraft. This is really giving me Minecraft 2015 vibes. The next build is an [13:06] urban city house. I start by placing down the fancy pillar blocks for the base. [13:12] The building is going to be six blocks wide with two gaps in the middle. [13:17] I go seven blocks back so the whole building is eight blocks long, six blocks wide. [13:24] I fill in the gaps and use two blocks high stone bricks, leaving space for the windows [13:30] and the door. [13:37] I fill in the corners with the same block I used for the base and actually that block [13:42] is called antique wall and then I use more antique wall to fill in the remaining gaps. [13:52] Normally you would build this in a real second floor, but for showcase purposes I'm mainly using the sides here. [13:58] Then I use stylish wall as the base for the second layer, leaving one gap open for the door. [14:05] After that I use plaster wall, again leaving openings for the windows. [14:10] I fill in the sides and the back wall. [14:18] Then I place the window frames. [14:28] Add more windows on the sides, put in the door, [14:35] and use sash windows on the top layer. [14:40] I also placed a second door here because this is going to be the entrance for the second floor. [14:46] Next I use glossy awnings above the windows and add bridge planks which will act as small balconies where we can place down flowers. [14:55] I fill in the roof and shape the outside edge with concrete border. [15:02] After that, I add another window in the back, a small staircase leading up to the second [15:09] floor and place flowers in the flower beds. [15:21] Then I decorate with my new favorite item, the Sea Dot lamp, some stone flooring. [15:27] I create a small flower bed and add a chair and a table with a newspaper. [15:42] And that's our urban house done. [15:47] Tell me in the comments which one was your favorite. [15:49] Thank you all 18 people for watching and I will see you in the next one.
